About Me
I was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio. I graduated from Massillon Washington High School (go Tigers!) in 2003. From there I went on to Malone College in Canton, Ohio, where I played four years of varsity basketball, and in 2007 graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Since then I’ve worked as a software developer for a handful of different places in Northeast Ohio. Currently I still live in Massillon and work for Rockwell Automation in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
In addition to programming, I also enjoy watching sports, mainly football and basketball. I’m a big Buckeyes and Cleveland sports fan. When I can. I still enjoying playing some basketball, and just recently started running in a few 5Ks. I love being outdoors, especially on the water, and love to go boating and fishing in the summer.
Over the past several years, software development has become my hobby as well as my job. I’ve helped to put together a few websites, and also have done some application development on my own. I decided to make my side-projects a little more official, and started my own LLC, Sheffield Innovations (check out the website here), where I create websites for small businesses and am also working on some mobile applications. Since it’s only part-time, I’m limited in my capacity of some of the projects I can take on, but it’s something I enjoy working on as time permits.
